My husband and I spent three days at the Hotel Butterfly in Torre del Lago Italy near Puccini's Villa. The hotel was clean, comfortable and the view from our room/terrace overlooking the lake was wonderful. We awoke the gentle sounds of the lake and water foul. This is a really nice, unpretentious hotel in a delightful location next to a large lake just north of Pisa. As police restrict access to the lakeside area, it is extremely quiet and upmarket.
