“Nice pension few minutes to city”

I was there with my wife in summer 2011. It's family pension loceted in uptown of Sulmona few minutes to center of the city passing the vinyards. Hotel is managed by family of Signora Immacolata. The owners are extremally friendly and helpful. They can bring you from/to the station by their car and give you an advice about city, restaurants,... More

This place was brilliant, mainly because we booked on the day because of a change of plans and the owner went out of her way to help us, picking us up from the station late at night and being generally helpful. She provides a shuttle to and from the train station for free which is very handy. The room itself... More

rooms were spotless & sparkling, very comfortable, and spacious. access to a common kitchenette & dining area was great. only a 5-10 minute walk from the center, and the walk provides a great view of the city with the surrounding apennine mountains. the best part, though, was the warmth of the family that ran the b&b. i was very well...
