Memories are made from beautiful experiences. Staying at La Casa Del Pescatore with Andrea and Leon (the dog) as our hosts was certainly a memory that will stay with us for a very long time. One of the highlights of our whole italian trip was sitting having dinner on the terrace watching the sun go down over Portovenere then repeating... More

A very nice family home converted to a B&B on the island just across the channel from Portovenere. We really enjoyed our breakfasts on the terrace, looking across the water at the pretty row of buildings on Portovenere -- the scenery can't be faulted, the dog is very friendly, and the only downside is the wasps (who are fond of... Peaceful, reserved, romantic, comfortable. Forget cars, forget noises, forget stress. Andrea is pleasant and very educated: a magnificent host. Morning. Try to imagine to wake you up, go to the green terrace - a nice one - and admire sea and Portovenere in front of you. Then fresh pastry, croissant, small pizza, fresh fruit salade, jams..... and only "noise" is... More

The breakfast alone makes this worth it. A beautiful setting overlooking Portovenere. Andrea is the nicest host, and provides a stellar selection of fruit, cereal and local pastries. He's is more than happy to ferry you to and from the island and recommend what to do. Would recommend to anyone.

My sister and I (both twenty something females) stayed here for one night. The setting of this B&B is just perfect. The grassy garden area, spectacularly overlooking the water and with a wonderful view of the mainland, is where you'll be greeted by Andrea with your breakfast - a perfect assortment of fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, muesli, pastries, bread, all... Based on reviews and photos, we expected the B&B to be a good choice, and it exceeded our high expectations. Everything was right for us. We had a beautiful setting, comfortable beds, peace and quiet, easy access to Portovenere and Cinque Terre, super breakfasts. The B&B provides an ideal way to visit the Cinque Terre without crowds and noise. Portovenere is... More

This is not a normal bed and breakfast! To get there you are collected in a boat by Andrea, your host. He brings his dog who sits on the front. You travel over the crystal clear straits for about 250m before undertaking a short walk across stones and steps to get to your room. The view is incredible, trust me.... More

We love this place! Andrea, the wonderful host, also lives at the house, and really makes it feel like you are staying with a friend. He will go out of his way to help you decide where to go and what to do. Of course, we ended up just lying on the terrace basking in the sun most of our... More

Palmaria Island is a little bit of paradise away from crowded Cinque Terre yet only 3minutes by boat to the photogenic,laid-back town of Portovenere. Great walks and breathtaking views of the port town and other islands. Andrea is a friendly, casual and attentive host at Las Casa . He provides a lovely breakfast of fresh fruit and pastries on the... More

We loved everything about this island B&B, the comfortable room, the private beach, the generous and tasty breakfast, friendly host, the garden and terrace with spectacular views to Portovenere. Just 5 minutes from Portovenere by ferry. If you miss the last ferry your host will meet you in his private dinghy. The island also has some great walks and a... More
