We stayed a week in a recently renovated Tuscan apartment in the mountains above Pescia in a very quiet location overlooking a wooded valley. The apartments are really comfortable and well equiped for self-catering with lovely views. The owners are very friendly. The apartments are within easy reach of Florence, Pisa & Lucca for sight-seeing. We would definitely recommend them.
