We stayed at the Alpi del Mare for 3 nights in November.
The hotel is basic, tired and in need of major refurbishment. The friendly staff made the stay tolerable but we would not have wanted to stay any longer and will not be returning.
The rooms are en suite but these take trhe form of a prefabricated pod fitted...

Small friendly hotel with reasonable prices and very reasonably-priced 'Set' Menu ( 9 Euros - 3 course).
Suitable for anyone on a budget or happy with 3 star accommodation. Clean, better than basic, does have a lift.
If you want posh, try Park Hotel round the corner.
Was a good base for Mondovi and the caves (grotta)
