Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed four nights this spring and although the lake had been drained, as it it is for a few weeks every ten years, the views from our room and the hotel grounds were spectacular. The owners and staff were friendly and very competent. Our waitress provided a very high level of service at both breakfast and dinner. One of the owners fetched my wife and our luggage from the bus stop. We received excellent advice about walks and hikes. The meals were of high quality and the overall value of breakfast, dinner and room was excellent

After a long walk around Lake Molveno which takes approximately two hours if you go all the way around this restaurant was a welcome lunch stop. Food and service was great and a breathtaking view across the lake. Was worth the two visits.

Paid extra for a room with lake and mountain view (room 12) which was well worth it, I think this is best positioned hotel in Molveno. Shame both our neighbours smoked on their balconies. Nice pool, we had it to ourselves most of the time.

A lake facing cozy hotel. The view from the room is unmatched! ( room 14 was ours) Since its outside molveno town limits , you actually get a panoramic view of the town WITH the lake at the forefront and the dolomites as the backdrop ! The best possible view. It also has a small private pebble beach. Elevator available. Good breakfast. Kid friendly. The gentleman at the front desk gave me a plate and spoon for the room and actually got the room heater going for my kids.. Recommended stay for sure. A car would be convenient.

DEFINITELY pay the extra for a lake and mountain view. It's incredible. The rooms have balconys so you can sit out with a bottle of wine and watch the sun set. Its wonderful to wake up to that view too. We stayed 5 nights and never stopped staring at the mountains. Great little base as there is a 12k circular walk round the lake. You can visit the city of Trento in about 50mins by car. 20 mins drive is the base for the Val D'Azur walk. From the hotel you can walk into the town of Molveno (10 min) which has some of the best pizza we have ever eaten, also has a supermarket and a cable car. Cable car takes you to the top of the mountain and from there there is more walks and trails and restaurants. The hotel offers a free brekfast which can set you up for the day, hams, breads, cheeses, cereals, yoghurt, fruit. We used the hotels free peddalow boat and had a picnic in the middle of the lake! We also borrowed the hotels bikes and cycled the route around the lake, bikes are a bit shabby but check the breaks work and enjoy! These little extras were great fun. Showers are tiny and you just get a tiny sachet of showergel which doubles as shampoo. So you'll probably want to bring your own. Would not hesitate to come and stay again. Thankyou to the hotel staff, you were great :)

Very nice hotel to stay with family. Location is great since we didn't want to stay at the city center. Very quite and looking over the lake and city center is on the other side of the lake. Housekeeping service wasn't impressive as they didn't supply us new towels and shower gel the second day. Amenities are poor almost none. No fridge in the room, we had to have milk for the baby but nowhere to keep the milk. No room service what so ever related to room service. Last but not the least very poor breakfast variety. There were not even fresh tomatoes or cucumber at the breakfast buffet. Lunch and dinner food was very tasteful. We would definitely go back!

Stayed for 2 nights in June with my wife. Room was clean and view from the balcony was beautiful. Good breakfast, free bicycle and paddle boats. Best of all was the friendliness and care towards us by the ever pleasant Maurizio and his wife. My wife was a bit upset that I had only booked 2 nights at the hotel. This time, I had to agree with her. Two night in such a wonderful hotel and pleasant town were not enough. Thank you, Maurizio. Our best regards to you, your wife and family.

I've known the place and the family running it since I was a child and I always found the hotel clean and cozy. The personal is kind and always ready to help with whatever you need and ask. The place is simply amazing, on the lake, surronded by nature and that's the great view you can have from your balcony. I'd reccomend it to anyone who wants to spend some time just relaxing and have walks in a great setting.

Great little local hotel. The host Maurizio is a beautiful person helping you with all your queries. Rooms are simple but absolutely spotless and comfortable. The view from the balcony over the lake is to die for. Breakfast is good
