This hotel describes itself as 'a restaurant with rooms' which does the rooms a bit of a disservice! Our room was spacious, stylish, well equipped and very comfortable. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Parking and wi-fi were free (often an added and irritating expense in other hotels). Excellent value for money. More

I booked this hotel on previous reviews. Although it is a rural hotel, the quality it offers is second to none. The rooms would not be out of place in a Marriott or Sofitel. If you plan to travel to this part of East Anglia book this hotel, it is superb. More

We have just got back from an overnight stay and dinner and are compelled to post a review straightaway. The dinner was delicious, the service fantastic, and the accommodation gorgeous (we stayed in a four poster room). We would recommend The Auberge in a heartbeat, out stay was faultless and worth every penny. More

We spent a very pleasant evening at The Auberge for my partners 50th birthday on 9th March 2012. The staff were wonderful and attentive and they put together a wonderful "fruit de mer" starter for us all to share. The atmosphere was really warm and relaxed and the food was good. Well worth a visit. More

We have been staying at The Auberge for many years. Why do we return as often as possible? Because it is simply the best! Dee, John and Jon Stenhouse are committed to indulging every guest, ensuring they enjoy the unique Auberge brand of superlative customer service and hospitality. The food is truly sublime - fresh local produce cooked imaginatively and... More

We had stayed twice before at The Bull Auberge and really enjoyed the quality accommodation, relaxed atmosphere and friendly, professional service. For a New Year break we booked 2 nights, Saturday 31 December 2011 and Sunday 1 January 2012. Our room was in the new annexe - ground floor this time, and not quite as good as the 4 poster... More

We recently stayed here when the place we usually stay was closed over the holiday period - the room was fine - large & good bed with OK linen - bathroom fine (underfloor heating which was lovely) and good towels. Furniture a little dated but clean and perfectly all right. We stay in London a fair bit and I'm not... More

I stayed in this hotel during September and both the rooms and the restaurant were superb. There is a new wing of the hotel and these rooms are as good as you would get in a top London hotel. The food that evening was fantastic and cooked individually by the patron who obviously has a love of his business and... More

Had my 60th birthday dinner here with family and friends. There were 18 of us. Amazing.....Firstly the rooms are brilliant. So much thought has gone into everything that the family have achieved with their superb high standards. We booked 7 rooms for our guests and everyone was truly blown away with my choice of venue. The meal was unbelieveable with... More

Very pleasant meal in a good atmosphere. Well balanced menu served by attentive and well trained staff. Good value for money. Probably necessary to book as used by Restaurant guests as well as Residents, good access from South Norfolk and North Suffolk along A140. Recommended for a celebratory type meal. More
