Very nice and very spatious room with amazing view to the Basilica Santa Croce in the City center. Excellent beds, very nice decoration and excellent breakfast. (second day no friendly service ... the lady was rather unpleasant with us). Since they have their own restaurant with a terrace outdoors next to our room, it was very noisy and we could... More

The staff were lovely and the room was great, although being on the ground floor we suffered when there was a party in the basement restaurant one night. Apart from that it was really quiet, especially considering just how central it is. The room was really clean, very warm (but with adjustable heating) and the bed, pillows and linen were... More

Dear Mr Philbath, thank you very much for taking your time to write about us. That was a pleasure to have you here as our guest and it is a pleasure and an honor to read your words. We are really really sorry for the music you felt one of the nights of your overnights stays here; that was because... More

Beautiful room, very clean and sympathetically decorated to make the most of the palazzo's stonework. Excellent location. However it is not really a hotel or even a B&B - there isn't any service; the restaurant staff just give you a key. When I asked to borrow an iron, they were stupefied - apparently no one had ever requested something so... More

I decided to stay at the Palazzo Persone based on other reviews, and am definitely glad that I did. I found the people working there to be very nice and helpful. Because of the way the accommodation is arranged, it feels more like you have your own small apartment in the middle of Lecce than it feels like you're staying... More

Dear Mr GianniV, thank you for booking in our strusture and thank you for this review in which you describe one of the peculiarities of our mansion: it is in the very city centre and nearby all the most important historical and cultural monuments of Lecce. As it is not a hotel, we can not give twentyfour hours services but,... More

I saw other nice B&B around during my stay in Lecce, but my experience in Palazzo Personè was so wonderful that I really reccomend it. The breakfast could offer more options of salt stuff, like rolls, eggs, ham and cheese instead of too many sweet pastries.

What a fantastic place to stay! We arrived on a day when there was a workers' strike and the lovely Caterina did everything she could to navigate us through it into to the 'centro storico' even coming to direct us past police etc herself - such a lovely welcome. The room was amazing, with wonderful high ceilings, delightfully refurbished in... More

Palazzo Persone was a perfect choice for a base in Lecce. We could walk straight out into the centre of the old town and look at the wonderful cathedral. The room was enormous with a real sense of WOW and had a fantastic high ceiling - really comfortable and cool - especially in 45 degrees! It was directly onto the... More

I guess Palazzo Persone is not really a hotel, they called it a "dimora". I think this means residence. The rooms are in a converted palazzo. The place is connected with a restaurant of the same name, so you check in at the bar. The room comes with breakfast. The staff, who are also running the restaurant, are great. We... More

We started our trip at the Palazzo Personè and it gave us the best night's sleep of our visit. Luxurious tranquil rooms in this old palazzo in central Lecce, exceptionally high ceilings, unusual, beautiful decor, great bathrooms (and my favourite Prija products). We arrived quite late the first night so ate in the restaurant, which wasn't bad, making efforts to... More
