If I were coming to a 3 star (at best) I would not be disappointed. However, if you are looking for a 4 star hotel this is far from it, not to mention far from everything....including the main attraction, the beach. Hotel Versilia at Forte dei Marmi is a typical mass-throughput beach resort hotel. Quite adequate, clean and functional, but nothing special or personal about it. It won't be central to your memories of the area.

We chose this hotel for its 4 star rating,but found it it be noisy, very basic ,dirty carpets, very indifferent breakfast, coffee almost undrinkable. It made Campamiles positively luxurious. The plus side was that the hotel porter was very helpful and made us feel welcome and there was plenty of off road parking.

Hotel has not been modernised ...................since forever! Old beds (a king size is actually two separate beds together), old bathroom, curtains etc etc Very close to the motorway with a lot of sound. Unfriendly reception.
