Came here for the second half of our P&M holiday in Sicily. Bit of a bijou hotel with a lottery as to what size/ type of room one gets as they are all so different: we were offered a small but beautifully marked one where we simply could not unpack and changed to a larger, good one but were charged... We stayed here as part of a tour group and even though our arrival was about 1100 at night, staff were on hand with a light meal and drinks from the bar. We stayed three nights and the staff were without exception friendly. The facilities were fine and the room, while it did not have a balcony as some did,... More

Lovely hotel, large rooms with very comfortable beds (essential for a holiday). Very friendly staff and very peaceful location. Cefalu historical centre is a 5 minute drive away so very practical to reach and the hotel price was very reasonable and great value.

Travelled here with Voyages Jules Verne. Upon arrival we entered the bathroom to find numerous insects 1.5 cm long with antenna running up the walls and ceiling. We asked reception for some Raid and we duly sprayed them. The tin of insecticide had been found so quickly that we realised that ours was not a unique occurrence. An hour later... More

Having booked a room with balcony and sea view we were disappointed to be put in room at top of hotel, whose "balcony" was the public terrace, and whose sea view involved standing on the bed. Additionally it was tiny - maximum of 45cm clearance between bed and wall - it gave the impression of being a single room with... More

Beautiful pool and garden, room spacious but a bit dated as are the restaurant and lounge area. Location is OK, but you need a car to get anywhere as there are no bars/restaurants within walking distance. We had the set dinner on the night we arrived and it was truly awful. Before we left the table the waiter asked us... More

We booked this by phone as we toured Sicily as independent travellers. It was a busy weekend and we got their last room - view was not great but the hotel is not right by the sea anyway. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. We didn't have dinner there but the breakfast was OK apart from the terrible coffee... More

I don't know who the other reviewers are that wrote that this hotel was close to Cefalu, but that just ins't the case. It's not a 15 minute walk to Cefalu. Try a 15 minute drive. The private beach aspect was a hike down the hill, that was actually pretty nice protected bay, minus the loud tango music when we... More

If we had read any negative reviews about this hotel before we went we would not have bothered but i'm so glad we stayed here. We stayed for 14 days. We requested a sea view and that is what we got. The room was typical Italian, pretty and clean. The best part of the Hotel was discovering the roof terrace... More
