Very, very unwelcoming in fact we missed breakfast by 15 mins and they wouldn't make us a coffee. They had no red or white wine only Vencento. As we learned Vencento is a sign of a vineyard in decline.

Despite the solid rungs on the windows, I confirm that:
- A golden rosary
- A powder compact guerlain
- An eye shadow chanel
- A wipes washer
- A deodorant
- A pack of cigarettes
- and what we have not yet discovered
have disappeared and have not been lost (and we couldn’t put everything in our safety box!)....

We stayed in suite 13. The first night we didn't have hot water in the ensuite bathroom or kitchen and after 6pm there isn't anyone onsite to help. But it was fixed the next morning and Lucia was very apologetic. The whole place has an old-world charm if you look beyond some of the untidiness of the garden and pool...

This is a treasure - surrounded by vineyards, it's very quiet and serene. Family run B&B; everyone was great and the visit perfect. This location is off the beaten path, but not far from Florence. Decor is very dated, but charming. No on-site restaurant but breakfast, which was included, was first-class - Continental, not American, style. Our suite had a...

I have stayed in probably 30 Agriturismos, apartment rentals and B&Bs throughout Italy so my review here is based on what I have experienced in other places.
We paid 80 EUR for an apartment with two bedrooms, which was perfect for us as two adults with a small baby, which is not super cheap for this kind of accommodation but...

Picture the movie- A Good Year starring Russel Crowe. We had it all, including the SMART car! This bed and breakfast is situated on a wine farm in the Chianti . It is quiet and peaceful and offers amazing views of the hills and valleys of the area.
Centrally located to explore the surrounding towns and countryside, it is the...

Brilliant location in the heart of Tuscany. Nice, quaint, clean rooms with great views. Breakfast was very Italian so there isn't really any western food but really what do you expect, it is Italy! The pool was brilliant. It was warm compared to most Italian pools. Service way good and all the staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend...

one of the best locations for an agriturismo in the area, stealing beauty esque gardens, statues, fountains, swimming pool illuminated till midnight, old stone farm houses rennovated into lovely little ensuite bedrooms (meaning a great night's sleep due to the thick walls but a water tank which only held enough hot water for one hot shower per evening). Breakfast left me...

We enjoyed our stay at Poggio al Sorbo. We got friendly service, a superb breakfast (including real Italian coffee) and found the fattoria a welcoming place.
The whole place has an old-worldy charme that is quite different to many of the more glitzy properties. It should be mentioned that the owners do not use pesticides or herbicides anywhere on the...
