I just spent 3 days in this Villa. The place was completely deserted. My son and I were the only guest for 2 of the 3 nights. We were really excited about dining at the Gourmet restaurant, unfortunately it closed for the season 10 days before we arrived.
Many of the other services on the web site simply did not...

I can't say enough wonderful things about our stay. From the moment we walked into the villa we knew it would feel like home . Our rooms were so wonderful and spacious, including the bathrooms. Very clean too. Knowing the history of the villa added to the allure as well. The food was superb and the staff was attentive, friendly, and...

We loved this place! Beautiful gardens & pool. The restaurant was outstanding - ate there 2 nights. The chef prepares fresh, local food - things like wild boar stew! Had a very good breakfast - much more than the usual fare - meat, cheese, tomatoes, cereals, breads.

They could not do enough for us. when we were there all the leaves were turning on the vines and that made for a fantastic view from our suite. The antiques are just...

We enjoyed our night at the villa. We stayed in the annex because we could get an apartment for extra room for the three of us. The apartment was large, clean, quiet, and very comfortable. We did not have a view, but some rooms in the annex might. ( The rooms in the main house do have a nice view)....

Had a very nice stay in this old villa set in the most beautiful countryside but at times felt the need for company. No other guests some days. The rooms were tasteful and large with lovely views, but our bathroom was very cramped and basic. The pool was good on a hot day but the food was its downfall. Breakfast was very...
