We had a great week of skiing in Bormio in early February 2012, staying at the hotel Funivia.
I was with my wife and adult daughter and we took a standard double room with extra bed.
We were very pleased with our holiday at Funivia and can recommend it without any doubt.
First, it's a great location – hotel located...

Usually 3 stars hotels claimed as 4 stars, with hotel Funivia it's vise versa. This 3 stars hotel looks like 4+. Very warm, friendly family atmosphere. Excellent renovated rooms, and, to my mind, the best location for skiers: the hotel is just in front of the slope. From my point of view, the location is the best in Bormio! Delicious...

My wife and i stayed here in July 2011, an absolutely fantastic bike hotel--not fussy but rather the perfect base of operations to explore magnificent riding in the Dolomites.--Stelvio, Gavia and Mortirolo, as well as the rolling hills in the valley
Rooms were comfortable, showers hot and family style dining delightful
Wonderful/secure bike shop/storage and service facility in underground garage--as...

Great hotel for the price we stayed for 6 days.
We had the hotel wash our bicycle clothes everyday and the clothes were readyto wear in the morning.
The hotel has a bicycle guide that rides with you every day.
The hotel is close to stelvio pass and mortirolo & gavia so no need for a car to get there....

3 cyclists from IRELAND travelled to Bormio for a 7-night stay at Hotel Funivia the first week of September 2011. We booked hotel transfer from Bergamo to Bormio and return. This is a 3-hour drive each way at a very reasonable cost when compared to car rental.
We are all in our mid fifties and over the past 5 years...

Hello, we stayed five days in the hotel. The perfect hotel for cyclists. Everybody is friendly and helping you in everything. Also the washing service is excellent. Good meals and a fabulous snack for after the ride. I want to thank the staff, Danielle, Jack,....for the perfect support during the great climbs.

This is the perfect hotel for cyclists. Attractive comfortable rooms. If you take their "cyclist's special" deal, including half board, you get suprisingly good meals, access to their well equiped bike shop, secure bike storage, a fabulous snack layout when you return from you ride. You can also participate in their van supported rides from the hotel. Staff is super...

We stayed here 10 days and it was more than luxurious. We were preparing for Granfondo Giordana and were treated like a true professional biker, with great food, a snack buffet in the afternoon and excellent washing service (bring clothes before 6PM and they are clean and dry (also wet shoes) in the morning).
The rooms at the first floor...
