Despite the rain our first visit in Ascoli Piceno was delightful. Our hotel was excellent. The old building has been restored with good taste respecting the old structures. Situation in the middle of the old town is perfect. Service was excellent and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay.

Excellent and very comfortable hotel in the Sorico Centro. Walkable to everywhere within the old city. All of the hotel staff were friendly and welcoming and spoke very good English which is unusual in Italy - they even took our car away to the parking garage each day! The staff are so friendly and helpful, and we particularly appreciated the fact that they parked our car in the garage location, and delivered it back to us on the doorstep after our short break. The Hotel Palazzo dei Mercanti is perfectly located in the heart of Ascoli Piceno. The room was quite e clean and the hotel staff was the kindest I have ever met! Breakfast was very good! Hope to return again...
