Put into bungalow at top of very winding road, handy for a couple of oap's. accomodation basic but clean and cleaned every day with fresh towels etc. Had a few restuarants, ate in the Cove buffet most of the time, not bad at all. Itilian was pretty good but very limited menu, same with Cafe... More

Transfer to resort was an experience - a little scary. Beach not pristine but it is a volcanic island. Trip- did a helicopter ride it was great. Restaurant staff very friendly especially Rose. Birds in buffet restaurant yuk all over the place. Room basic. Probably won't go back. More

If you get a good deal on the room, then this is a nice place to stay. The location is very beautiful and lush ,with nice pools. The beauty of the grounds and the incredible food did make up for most of the minor issues we encountered. We've stayed at some VERY nice resorts and some mid-range resorts, and I... More

I just returned from a four night stay over Mother's Day weekend. The grounds are beautiful with flowers blooming everywhere. When we arrived, we were greeted by Owens with a much needed rum punch after the 90 min ride from the airport. I had called ahead and told the hotel that I was there with my mom to celebrate her... Smugglers Cove is a beautiful resort with it's own private beach with a mixture of white and stunning black sand which sparkled in the sunshine! We got married at the resorts wedding chapel over looking the beach on 2nd April with 11 other guests also joining us. I cannot thank the staff enough, especially Lorna the wedding co-ordinator for making... More

We were there the last 2 weeks in March on a Virgin Holiday. It was a 2 hour drive to the resort on a very windy road going up hill and down to the resort, if you are a bad traveller you need to take travel sick pills.. Large beautiful grounds the best we have seen and very well tended.... More

We just came back from 10 day vacation at St. Lucia. For three days we stayed at Morgan bay resort where property and service were excellent. Then for 7 nights we stayed at Smugglers Cove. What a nightmare and such a terrible experience!!! The hotel is very old and rooms are dirty and full of ants. The bed was so... More

Just returned from St. Lucia and was there for a week. Unfortunately, Mother Nature decided to give us some "Liquid Rain" during our stay. Of course the day of departure, sun was bursting. Make sure you book a transfer to and from the hotel. The ride was not bad at all, it was long but peaceful. Reading all the prior... More

What a superb resort - very friendly and polite staff, great choice of swimming pools, beautiful setting, excellent food and brilliant atmosphere in the resort. Rose, Christal and Michelle (Cove Restaurant) were exceptionally helpful and very good with Grace, our daughter. Wendell was also a credit to the resort and very chatty and helpful. I have never known a group... More
