Stayed 2 nights. Room basic, but as we had been informed it was not up to the standard of the other rooms this not a problem. Especially for 2 lads out for A beer or 2. Breakfast surprised us it was superb. Staff friendly and would come back.

Me and the other half stayed here for a week, we had a double room with a bath which suited us perfectly! The staff are extremely friendly, the room was very clean and cosy and the food is excellent! Would highly recommend and brilliant value for the price, will stay again for sure.

I had a one night stay. Yes rooms basic, but clean, bed comfortable. did not have dinner but if the breakfast is anything to go by I am sorry I didnt. I was fortunate enough to be placed here on several occasions by my employers, bless 'em, the staff were friendly, and the choice and quality of food good, the rooms I stayed in were comfortable and the building of course steeped in history.

I booked this hotel for a two night stay. The room I was given should have been condemned. The bed had so many springs poking through that there wasn't room to get comfortable.
