A perfect place to stay to relax and unwind . I would recommend the Free Spirit resort to anyone wanting to get away and relax by the pool with perfect weather. The pool, bar, and meals are all good. However, be careful when booking your accommodation. Even when they say the room has been refurbished, you will find it has not. Great place for peace and quiet..... surprising for a large resort. The meals were great and varied. I just booked into the Darwin freespirit resort at 901 Stuart highway just north of Palmerston, I was seen by a friendly and helpful young lady who gave me a map with directions and my family cabin room key, so far so good, it states on the map I have to pass through boom gates to get to my room,... The chalets are expensive but the pool and bouncing thing are great for kids. The location is nothing special but easy to find as you head into or out of town. More

Good Shady powered sites, Great tour desk, 3 resort pools (The main pool could have been cleaner during our stay). Good quality town water compared to other darwin parks. Nearby bike track to Darwin CBD. More

Spent 10 days on a premium powered site. Sites were grassy and suitable for a large family tent. Park quiet at night and felt safe. Kids loved it although activities were on the way down as it was the end of season. My only minor gripe which prevents 5 stars was that there were cigarette buts all over our site... More
