We stayed in a comfortable lodge (Waveney) and enjoyed watching the birds. Beautiful location and good place to explore nearby sights. Wonderful to be able to get out onto the Broads. The pool was great for the kids. Shop is a little small. Not the most comfortable beds (too soft) and TV needed upgrading since it was showing signs of... More

Beautiful site, lovely area to visit, lots to see and do. Our Log cabin was adapted for disabled which was fantastic, although area around site covered in gravel which is not easy to push wheelchair through, suggest a ''cycle route type of pathway'' would make all the difference. otherwise a fantastic location More

Just got back from a week at the Waveney River Centre. We stayed in one of the lodges which was equipped with everything you'd need for a week self catering. The facilities are very good (swimming pool, laundrette, on-site shop). Sadly we didn't get chance to try out the pub. The local wildlife kept our little one entertained (bird feeder... More

We have just arrived back from our weeks stay in a lodge at Waveney and can all say that we had a great break. The centre is right on the broads and close enough if you want to visit nearby sights. It took us about 30 min drive from Gt Yarmouth along the single track road in the rain! Very... More

We stayed here in May 2011 for a short break in the park's most basic (and cheapest!) accommodation , the Fritton static caravan. It was clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay on a budget with parking right next to the caravan. The park has a lovely setting and the added bonus of a lovely swimming pool which,... We have just got back from a 5 night break at this site and had a fab time. Great family run site, good value and great location. We were met on arrival by Alan, who was warm, friendly and helpful, he is onsite which is very reassuring. The pitch we were allocated was next to the wooden playground and had... More

Last July myself and a large group of friends went camping at Waveney, and we had a brilliant time. The staff were all very friendly and helpfully, the tent pitches were well laid out and had lovely views over looking the river and boats. They have a little shop on the camp site which has everything you need. So no... More
