The staff and facilities at this hotel are fantastic ! They accomodate children and have a wonderful chef with an extensive local wine list. We will definately be going back there as it's one of the best in the region ! The views are like a postcard, and only 10 minutes from Wanaka....

Such an amazing place to stay with a very relaxed atmosphere, fabulous food of a level that was surprising to us, great for families and just simply an excellent place to stay.

We loved our two night stay in this recently renovated and refurbished hotel. The setting is absolutely beautiful right at Lake Hawea with breathtaking views from newly renovated rooms. Our stay at the Lake Hawea Hotel was the high point of our trip to New Zealand. Stunning location. And every comfort has been carefully accounted for. Really comfortable beds, nice bed linen, electric blankets, decent fast kettle, comfortably appointed shower room, large silent frig. Don't take my word for it - just go!
