My husband was ill for a couple of the days that we were here, and they were just so lovely looking after us. Even without that, it was a great place, with a perfect location right between the train station and the sea front but still lovely and quiet. Great Breakfast and free wi-fi. Would definitely recommend. More

I was back for the 3rd (or 4th, not sure?!) time this August and things have not changed at all, which is a good thing, not a bad thing here! Stayed in the single room which isn't en-suite but does have it's own private bathroom with a bath and shower just across the hall. Room always clean and in each... More

We stayed at the Jamesfield some years back but returned there again this summer in August. The house is situated just off the main sea front road and has it's on private driveway with plenty of parking for guests. The house is well maintained and spotlessly clean. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. We had tea and coffee facilities... More

Found this place by accident, thought it looked nice and weren't disappointed. We stayed for our anniversary weekend and found the room spotless and comfortable, the welcome lovely and the breakfasts absolutely brilliant! One unexpected bonus was the way in which the owners have preserved the arts & crafts style of the house and chosen a lot of furniture accordingly.... More

We have just spent 3 nights at Jamesfield. We picked Jamesfield because of the reviews on Tripadvisor and we were not disappointed. The welcome was friendly. Our room was a bit on the small side as was the bathroom but ours was a late booking so I would not have expected to get the best room in the place. In... More

Just returned from the Jamesfield, this is a lovely B&B, the owners were welcoming and helpful, breakfast was good with the choice of cereal, full english, toast, tea and coffee. Our room was very bright and clean. The location is good, about a 5-10 minute walk from all the bars, restaurants and town centre. Would recommend this guest house to... More
