We don't play golf, but I wish we did because the golf course looks exciting and picturesque. The hotel is situated away from the road at the end of its own tarmac drive both sides are beautifully mown. We received a very friendly and helpful welcome, answering all our questions with a smile. We needed a room on the ground floor... More

We stayed at the hotel for one night and couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. Staff were lovely without exception. Room was modern and clean. Nice bar and restaurant. Perfect for our stay. No complaints whatsoever. More

Only stayed one night at the hotel after a dinner dance but from the moment we arrived to the time we left all the staff were polite and helpful. Rooms are clean and tidy, were a little cold when we arrived but turned the heater on and room was soon warm. The TV was a little annoying as you have... More

The staff here are a real asset and take pride in their jobs. I had to organise a meeting and Louise was very efficient setting me up with a good room rate for the meeting, dinner and then hotel accomodation for myself and a colleague. My customers thought the meeting room was good and the venue also. For myself the... More

This was my second stay here and the view was just as lovely second time around - make sure you ask for a room overlooking the golf course. The evening food in the dining room is excellent - as was the breakfast - the service is a little leisurely in the morning, so make sure you leave plenty of time... More

From first reservation to check out some months later and especially the two days spent at the Hotel the staff were uniformly delightful , positive , helpful and extremely welcoming. The whole atmosphere was one of quiet and purposeful efficiency with the guest at the heart of everyone's efforts. The hotel is smart, well set up with delightful bedrooms and... More

We have just returned from a three night stay at Lanhydrock, a present for my husband as he has just started playing golf, so his present was a lesson with Lanhydrocks professional golf pro - Richard O Hanlon. While my hubby played golf, I sat in the Club House and drank tea, and totally relaxed. The hotel is really nice,... More

From the minute we drove down the driveway into the Lanhydrock Hotel and Golf Club we knew we were going to be happy. We'd been driving around the south western part of the UK from Brighton for a few days and had stayed in some fairly ordinary accommodation and to find Lanhydrock was a breath of fresh air. Being on... More

We stayed for one night in a double room as it looked lovely on the website. Brand new hotel and golf club, it was very clean and welcoming but lacked that certain something we just cannot put my finger on! Very much a ‘golfing hotel’ as opposed to somewhere you spend a romantic night for two. The receptionist was very... More

A modern hotel in a pleasant location, if a bit remote. The staff are polite and helpful. The rooms are standard, but bright and clean. I agree with one of the reviewers that the rooms are a bit stuffy and it is difficult to get fresh air in because the windows do not open. Soundproofing is poor-if someone is talking... More
