We spend ther a Easter week and it was best holidays we ever had. Lodge was very nice, clean and cousy. Owners are very friendly and helpfull. When we arrived late on a rainy day, lodge was waiting with lights and heaters on- it was Easter Monday, so quiet cold. We also found a file which become very handy- with... More

What more can I say that hasn't been said? We stayed the first week of the Easter Holidays in a Log Cabin. The site itself is beautiful - and had a playground, little woodland walk, lambs, pigs and chickens which kept our little boy amused on mornings and evenings. The lodge was spotless - if a little cold - but... More

Stayed here for 4 nights over the Easter bank holiday. The setting was lovely with lots of trees and wildlife, we made friends with a very brave robin. We camped, and were one of very few tents on the site, but all the lodges and wigwams and pods were full and there were a few caravans as well. It was... More

We chose Ruthern Valley for a peaceful setting and at this time it certainly was.One or two guests only,in a tent and in a lodge. As stated all is spotlessly clean, basic ie tv with limited channels. The cooking and washing facilities in the lodge are A1.The birds are numerous. The site is well laid out and it's almost like living amongst a few... my wife and I love visiting cornwall and since finding Ruthern Valley Holidays always come back to the same place. we tend to stay in the lodges, which are always spotless and have everything we need. the accomodation is relatively basic, as advertised, but are very cosy and well maintained. The setting is beautiful and very well kept by Andrew... More

Just come back from our 3rd family short break and it just gets better each time. Andrew and Nicky can't be more accommodating and our two small children love the freedom to be able to explore the site and help Andrew each morning collect eggs. We will definitely be back again for a 4th visit, beautiful beaches & the Eden... More

First time we've stayed on this site or in a wigwam and on the first night we said we'd be back! Obviosuly, from the pictures on their website, it's not what you'd expect a wigwam to look like - wood not material for a start, but it was fantastic! Dogs are allowed on the site, but not sure if they... More

We have now stayed here a few times a year for the past 2 and half years and have sampled the camping pods (amazing accomodation, all the fun of camping without any of the hassle, warm, rustic and clean), lodges (lovely outlook, well equipped and it has been nice to see how they have been updated over the years) and... We stayed in one of the log cabins. The cleanliness and standard cannot be faulted. The kitchen of the cabin we stayed in has been refurbished since our last visit and looks fantastic. The owners, Nicky and Andrew, make you feel at home and are always there for advise and help. We particularly like Ruthern Valley as compared to other... More

We camped and tried a pod. We can't fault this site or the hospitality of the owners Nicola & Andrew. Peaceful, beautiful area. The only real noise came from the wildlife. My wife rated the shower blocks highly. Always a must for us. New one was even heated. May be a visit after summer will be in order. This is... More
