We agree with all of the 1 star comments although we would give it 0 stars if there were an option. We stayed here over a year ago and still shudder at the experience. The hotel is dark, dingy and in desperate need of refurbishment (or demolition). As we were shown to our room we noticed the very strong smell... More

Had a great stay here in this wonderful hotel. Manager and staff really friendly and helpful. Stayed in the four poster bed room (or the "princess room" according to my daughter!), with a fantastic view of the sea! Breakfast was lovely, and the karaoke was a hoot (though I was only observing!!) This was our first trip to Morecambe and... More

One night stay. Bedroom clean but small. Bathroom needed updating and the shower was cold. Breakfast was ok, Andrew made up for the shortfalls in this hotel with his great hosting skills he had time for every guest and made you feel really welcome.

Brilliant stay, with many thanks to Andrew our host for his very warm welcome and genial hospitality - and he's not a bad pool player either! Rooms were really clean and comfortable, a tremendous breakfast - and a great place to stay if you're doing the Sustrans "Way of The Roses" route, with secure bike storage available if needed. Cheers... More

The proprietor Andrew was one of the best hosts we've had. He made us very welcome and couldn't do enough for us. We were given a sea view room with a spectacular view of the bay. The room was bright, airy and clean, maybe a little small if you were staying more than the one night we were staying but... More

I did not like it here at all, my husband and I stayed for one night over Easter. We paid £77.50 for a sea view double, the room was small, the bathroom was not the best, wooden toilet seats not only look horendous, but are they hygienic, the shower needed areal good clean? The bar area was like walking into... More

We were made immediately welcomed by the hotel owner and no hint of homophobia - always a concern when staying in a hotel we didn't already know ! The room was lovely with a sea view. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast was good too. We would recommend it to anyone. We were given a choice of double... More

Have been a few times now and love the friendly atmosphere and nostalgia. Grilled breakfast is spot on and the bar is handy after a long day. Bed was comfy and shower very clean. Be back very soon indeedy!

We stayed overnight with friends at the Eidsforth Hotel while visiting Morecambe for a Limehouse Lizzy concert at the Platform venue. After initially being sceptical about what Morecambe had to offer we were pleasantly surprised by firstly the accomodation and then Morecambe itself!! We had a fantastic stay and thoroughly enjoyed both the hotel and the concert. Andrew made us... More

Just spent an excellent weekend at this hotel. The rooms are spotless and comfortable. They are equiped with everything you could require. As for the bed, I have not slept so well in ages. The owner is so friendly and cosiderate that it is easy to forger you are in a hotel. It seems like home. The staff are friendly... More
