The Silverwell is a typical converted Victorian terraced house and, in many ways, is in keeping with that. Do not go there expecting ultra modern facilities and masses of space....go there expecting spotless cleanliness, lovely comfy beds and delicious breakfasts. We stayed there recently for 3 nights and had a comfortable stay. We were quickly checked in, asked about breakfast,... More

The Silverwell is a typical seaside B&B near to the seafront. The parking was on the street but we had no issue finding a space. My Hunnby was stranded in Morecambe for the weekend and I booked a room for him over phone at 2230hrs and he was safely installed in a cosy room half an hour later....Most B&B's would... More

This B&B is a typical British Victorian terraced boarding house. Upon entering the property its like stepping back in time. However the hotel is clean, warm and very good value for money. The owner is appears quirky but he gets on with the job of running the place and we were all soon booked in. My room was spacious, clean... More

The Silverwell is an old fashioned seaside guest house, in a town that is struggling to survive the current economic difficulties, yet is is beautifully kept, attention to detail is good, and prices are very reasonable. You couldn't have a better location either, out of the front door turn right and 75 yards you're on Morecambe beach!! Took Mum (81)... More

Arrived to a welcoming gentleman, who gave us a few tips about the area and some very good local advice. The bedrooms are clean, big and the bedding very comfy. Plus the view from the room was amazing. Close to buses into town or further into the lakes district and there are plenty of pubs and food stalls on the... More

you just can not go wrong for the money that you pay, the bedroom while small was more than adequate for your needs with spotless clean bedding. The breakfast was out of this world, I can not rate it high enough, very highly recommended.

We rang the outside door bell to get in, no answer, waited, rang again, waited. A couple who were staying at the b&b happened to be walking in so let us in, then we stood for a bit, found a bell rang it and then waited a bit, rang again and then finally got service. Room was dated and in... More
