A spotlessly clean guest house. Very good breakfast. Close to the beach, very quiet. Rooms en-suite. The Balmoral is about a 10min amble to the bus/railway stations and the town centre. The stairs are quite steep. My only niggle was that the wash basin in my room was extremely small. Morecambe has an excellent bus service

Just read the many complimentary comments left by others who have stayed with Rob and Lee. I cannot disagree with any of them and have little to add than to say Thank you for looking after us so well. An example of how a seaside hotel should be run.

This guesthouse provided not only comfortable accommodation and a lovely breakfast but also the most fantastic view of the sea - just as promised on booking!! Rob charming host and immediately dealt with tiny issue of remote control not working - only for my husband - without fuss and swiftly. Breakfast was lovely.

First visit to Morecambe in many years. Could not have chosen a better place to stay for a base to visit different areas. So clean and brilliant staff. Lee and Rob, well what can one say, two nicer guys you couldn't wish to meet. Breakfast you can have as much or as little as you wish all cooked fresh. Lovely... More

Don ;t look any further than the Balmoral. Morecambe still has a lot to offer especially if you are content to walk the superb promenade which is clean and smart and now with the Midland Hotel to pop into for a coffee just to see the renovations! The Balmoral is spotless and well-maintained with a great deal of thought having... More

Management were very accommodating about us late date changing. Our 1st visit to Morecambe (in terrible weather) but still a great visit. Great location just out of the busy area. No noise at night from outside or from within. Fantastic views from our bay window. Decor and furnishings were a little dated but functional and clean. Great traditional breakfast. Friendly... More

My daughter and I booked a 'groupon deal' here and were not expecting a great deal. How wrong we were! It was warm , cosy, friendly and beyond expectations. We had a twin room on 2nd floor, it was at the back of hotel so we missed out on a sea view but not all rooms can be at the... More

This has got to rank as one of the best guest houses i have stayed in. The interior in all of the rooms is just what you expect from a seaside bnb, a lovely homely feel throughout, very well kept and clean. On arrival you walk into a welcoming lobby with fresh flowers always on display. To you right is... More
