First trip to Southport and to the Waterford Hotel, recommended by a fellow patient who was in the next bed to me in Hospital. Excellent location close to promenade and Lord Street shopping. Enjoyed a really pleasant 2 day stay at the Waterford.again. Agree with previous contributers about the quality of the service and the wonderful hospitality of the hosts. Rooms clean and spacious, with a re-vamped en-suite and lovely views over the lake.

Stayed for 1 night in a superior lakeview room. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated with a mixture of old and new fixtures and fittings. Paul and trina were very welcoming and offered a great service. Breakfast was beautifully presented and very tasty. Would definately recommend this small hotel to friends and family.
