Disgusting - filthy carpets, cigarette butts on floor, dirty bedding, window ledge dirty and broken, money and peanuts on floor, stained tables, light not working, curtains hanging down. Stains on ceiling and walls. TV not working properly, Grubby paintwork - Dirty bathroom with pubic hairs in toilet. Smelly and musty, bedding disgusting. Should have read the reviews before hand -... Stayed here in May the establishment (to use the word HOTEL is a bit misleading) is very dated the room we were in was small and cramped, the shower was cold on hot setting and freezing on any other setting. The mattress was old with no padding, I think when I woke up I had the indentations of the springs... More

I booked this hotel through Booking.com and asked for a superior single on 17/18 April this year. A week before I was due to go I had to alter the date by bringing it back to 16/17 April and was told it was all done. When I arrived I was told they knew nothing about it and only had one... More

I understand that it's cheap but I still expect the basics. The bin hadn't been emptied from the previous customer, there's no soap, shower gel etc, two small towels, the toilet was too big for the bathroom, so you had to sit at an angle, you could hear the people next door urinating in their toilet (so we assumed they... In the advertisement it states that there would be ample parking space - no reservation necessary and that there would be someone in attendance at all times. On arrival, because there was nowhere to park On asking staff about parking, we were asked to stay at another hotel a short distance away. On being taken to The Aaron Hotel (which... More

We stayed here for one night back in March - if you want a cheap, no frills place to crash then you can't go far wrong with this. It's centrally located with bars & restaurants in easy reach, the staff were friendly and one of the guys in the group who was up for breakfast said that was decent too.... More

Stayed for one night over the Easter Bank Holiday Weekend & found this B&B to be of top value. Very cheap and yet maintains the standards and cleanliness of the more pricier hotels and B&B's. Staff were very welcoming and friendly and went out their way to make you feel comfortable and nothing is too much trouble, breakfast in the... More

Although very cheap, the 'hotel' resembled more of an hostel. TV didnt work, mattress tired and worn, light constantly on outside bedroom door, empty can left in bedroom by 'cleaners', milk stale for tea in the morning and also agree with the non existent 'parking'. Just about bearable for one night only. Even at 25 quid a night this does... More

bed linen was dirty and stained, had not been changed. Had to sleep on top of bed covers. Shower broken and held up by a plastic tie. This hotel is used by local Authority as homeless shelter. Horrible damp smell through hotel. No parking and rough flats on either side of hotel.
