A very unusual hotel. Our bikes got to stay inside in the hall! Massive room. Decor a little faded, but still very comfortable and very nice to have a sofa. Good attention to detail with nice touches in the room. The owners handled a difficult situation with some noisy dogs belonging to some other guests really well and we appreciated... More

Stayed for one night while up in area for weekend. Room was comfortable and clean as was the rest of the hotel, breakfast was very good and plenty of it. Would certainly stay again without hesitation.

We stayed at the Osprey Hotel for one night, waiting for our new car to be ready for picking up from the garage next doors. We had not planned to stay over in Kingussie so this was very much a last minute booking and Sue was extremely accommodating and helpful, making us, our lively toddler and dog very welcome.

The best and most comfortable B & B in the area. Sue the owner, and Rosie and Phoebe the dogs, make every stay a joy! This is home from home, with someone else doing the work! Agree with all the reviews about the food and accommodation, always come away a few pounds heavier!! Couldn't imagine staying anywhere else whether it... More

Returned home today after a week at The Osprey. The hotel is comfortable, clean and breakfasts nourishing and tasty. Sue is a warm, friendly hostess and nothing is too much trouble for her. I would highly recommend a stay at the Osprey to anyone wanting a base from which to explore The Cairngorms National Park. Loved the dogs as well.

I stayed here for five nights as part of a Scottish tour, and found Sue , my hostess to be very friendly and welcoming. The premises were very clean and comfortable, and I received clean, fresh towels every day. I will certainly go back.

Spent one night in the Osprey Hotel over the August Bank Holiday. The proprietor Sue was very welcoming and her cooked breakfast was fantastic. The en-suite shower was very powerful. Not the most modern looking of rooms but fulfilled our requirements. Sue even recommended a local pub to us for dinner which was only a few minutes walk from the... More

Sue is a very friendly owner, she made us very welcome. The rooms were a bit cluttered but with character and the breakfasts were excellent.

I recently stayed at the Osprey during a visit to Kingussie for a conference - it was very refreshing to be hosted in individual establishments instead of the usual bland conference centres. The Osprey was a perfect choice. Clean comfortable room’s situated close to the station and major facilities within Kingussie. The food was great, with plenty to go around,... More

My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much. The room was a bit small but well-appointed and clean. The bed was comfortable. Sue, the owner, made a large Scottish breakfast, so large we asked her to cut the portions in half for us. We spent three very enjoyable nights there. The location was great for day trips around the... More
