Homemade food is amazing here! Soup is always delicious and the macaroni is to die for! Hubby usually gets the steak pie and the plates always near enough licked clean!! Will definitley be going back!

I have stayed here twice now and will be back again soon. What a nice place run by such friendly people. Really nice rooms with comfortable beds, good options on food, great breakfast - overall good value for money & a pleasant change from the 'chain' hotels that I stay in on business.

The Old Cross Inn was chosen because of good reviews and its location. Stayed at a weekend. It is a perfect B&B and does 'exactly what it says on the tin'. The room was spacious and the beds comfortable. The shower room was immaculate. Breakfast was excellent with generous portions. Easy parking outside, off road.

We stayed one night on our way north to visit friends. It is on the main road in the village of Rattray which is next to the bigger town of Blairgowrie. Stayed here midweek pre-ski trip to Glenshee. Stayed in a room to the front of the hotel which looked recently refurbished to a good standard. En-suite also new and smart. No central heating but the room had been warmed up by the very friendly owner with electric heaters prior to our arrival and we had no problems with the room... More

Lovely hosts, made us very welcome, and couldn't do enough for us. Great room, lovely large and comfy bed. Bathroom clean and tidy. Food in the evening was great, and again staff very friendly. Breakfast good too. Would definitely stay again, and even though it is not the most attractive pub externally, would also recommend.
