A warm, welcoming establishment. Nothing is too much troublke for Liz. The rooms are tastefully decorated and the ensuite is of a high standard. The breakfasts are excellent- it was worth travelling to the North East for the fried bread. Royally entertained by 5 year old grandson over breakfast. Will be back!

Don't worry about coming here!!. Breakfast brilliant and room comfy. Many thanks to the landlady for her tips and information. They do not accept stags and hens so a good nights sleep is assured. Its the first time in many years I've stopped in a b & b but I would not hesitate to return. Top marks!!

Great hotel, great owners and in a great location! I've stayed here twice before while working in the area and they always make you feel welcome. It's been refurbished since the first time i stayed, so i'm pretty sure the poor comments below are about the place a couple of miles away with a very similar name.
