We stayed at the Aald Northville Hotel and were delighted with everything. Trish and Jon were friendly, the room was clean and tidy, 5 minuutes walk from the beach, handy for shops and somewhere to eat and breakfast was lovely too. We will definately be returning. We were not bothered by any noise and cannot wait to go back.

Although they did the best to find me a room, I was rather dissapointed with the standard. Priced at £19 for the night it suited my purpose. Went for a Stag do of 27 of us; wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly suprised. Clean, tidy and functional. Staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast is exactly what you need after a night out in Newcastle which was a bargain £11.50 taxi ride away with the recommended taxi company. My stay here was excellent. I am not sure what an earlier reviewer was complaining about. I stayed at the same time and the service especially from the manageress was superb.
