Stayed for 2 nights midweek in room 11,which is a quiet room at the rear of the hotel.Bed very big and very comfy.Staff were very friendly and efficient.Had the best breakfast ever. The bacon was of a very high quality and not the nasty salty variety you usually get served up.Manx kippers were also on offer with a perfectly poached egg... We had a wonderful stay at Ellan Vannin, Paul and Pauline were so accommodating and were very patient with requirements for our 8 month old baby; they provided a cot and highchair, were happy to keep the baby's food in their freezer/fridge and the lounge where we spent our evenings was so homely and comfortable. The ladies serving our food... More

Great place to stay, fantastic breakfasts and dinners too if you dine in, wonderful helpful hosts, location couldn't be bettered, if you're on the top floor (rooms 20 / 21) the wifi is patchy to non existent, although it's ok in the lounge, the shower pressure and temperature was pathetic, but overall we had a good enjoyable stay. The prices... More

This was our second visit to Ellen vannin and once again Paul and Pauline could not have been more accommodating, swapping our room for us as I had injured my leg and had trouble with stairs. Nothing is too much trouble for them and looking forward to going back again next year.

Stayed for 3 nights early May and loved the people and the friendliness of Paul and his wife..Food was delicious and plentiful. You would never be hungry if you stayed here. beds clean and comfortable. The only thing I would suggest is that guests are made aware that evening meals are ordered at breakfast. We arrived about lunch time and... More

We stayed the first bank holiday in may. Owners could not be more helpful, providing feather pillows on request and helping us with information on where to go! Rooms lovely, super clean and comfy beds. Breakfast was large and every taste catered for. Will definitely be coming back! Stayed 3 nights and it wasn't long enough...thanks Paul.

Shower gel, shampoo and soap were provided in dispensers which was really useful.... More
