This was our second visit to The Belmont and it didn't disappoint. Some changes and improvements had been made in the interim, but all were in keeping with the property. As usual, Mine Hosts could not have been friendlier or more helpful. A very enjoyable visit.

Comfortable, Friendly service, good pint in the bar,plenty of information in brochure, and ten out of ten for the food.Only there on business for one night. Thinking of staying later in the year for a summer break.The hotel is positioned well for both the town and the sea front

This was our first visit to Shanklin but a return trip to the IoW after many years. I am put in hotels regularly by work so it makes a nice change to stay somewhere decent and write a good review,, staff here very helpfull very friendly rooms are great and the food is great reasonable prices also ,, but the best thing is the sauna and best of all it's free

Stayed in this hotel.. Nice hotel however did find hotel room very small with the smallest on suite bathroom I have ever seen and shower curtain and shower area not great either... Breakfast very nice would not stay based on quality of room I was given would be better of paying less and would more than likely get the same... More

Having read reviews before we chose the Belmont we were expecting something extraordinary. The very first thing to point out is this hotel is not for disabled, what with all the steps into the property and stairs once inside. WE have just spent a very good week at the Belmont Hotel Shanklin. Des and Linda are such a warm friendly couple and do everything they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
