We travelled to the IOW after a long absence to find ourselves, and our friends, in the welcoming arms of the excellent Hambledon. We could not fault the cost, ambience, cleanliness, food, drink, staff and mine hosts. In all respects, Bill, Jackie and the rest of the crew couldn't have been more helpful. Look out - We will be back.

Have just returned from another wonderful week at the Hambleton. The weather was a bit cool but not so the welcome and hospitality we received from Bill, Jackie and staff which was very warm as usual. Excellent room, excellent meals and excellent service. Nothing too much trouble. Thanks for the lift to the ferry Bill!! We'll be back.

After arriving late afternoon in very cold weather, we were made to feel very welcomed and given a nice cup of tea and warmed ourselves in their comfortable lounge. Rooms where comfortable and clean as the rest of the Hotel was, food was really good and plenty of choice. I will be returning again.

A lovely hotel in a great location in Shanklin. The rooms are kept spotlessly clean, well appointed and modern. The food is home cooked, delicious and plentiful, and served with a smile. We were made very welcome and enjoyed our stay immensely, there is no reason why we would not return to this hotel.
