We arrived at the hotel and received a very warm welcome from David and Jenny. the hotel was very homely, the bedroom was lovely and spotlessly clean. excellent value for money. When we visit Devon again we will not hesitate to stay at the Beresford again. Thank you for making us feel so at home in your lovely hotel.

Just spent two nights here and must say i agree with other reviewers. The owners are really welcoming, we were offered a cup of tea as soon as we arrived and asked if we needed help with luggage. We stayed in a very comfortable double room on the top floor that was spotlessly clean, tea and coffee making facilities with... More

Offered tea & biscuits before we even checked in ! Friendly staff. Lovely clean and comfortable room, good bed too. The cooked breakfast was great also available were cornflakes, yoghurts & fruit etc ... Good internet connection. Few minutes walk to town, beach, pubs, pier & cinema, brilliant location. Not modern but very good for the price. We would return.

The room had a small tv. We found the room itself a nice size and the windows opened fully which was brilliant. The bathroom was adequate... More

This is not a large nor expensive hotel, nor is it, I must confess, the most modern but if you want comfort, a really positive welcome, a good breakfast and lovely staff then this is the place to stay. Well situated in the heart of Paignton and only 5 mins walk to the railway station the owners, Jen and Dave,... More

Been going here for a few years now, welcome always excellent, good, clean accommodation and very hearty breakfast with lots of choice. Locality couldnt be better for the town, the nightlife, entertainment and the beach.
