This was our fourth stay in 12 months, what can we say, a real home from home and wonderful hosts. The rooms are warm and welcoming, the food excellent, in fact they have won an award,the location is ideal. this was our second visit everything was perfect,nothing was too much trouble for paul and dianne it was 5 star and then some.

We had a warm welcome with tea and cakes, our room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was lovely. The location is quite but close to the seafront and shops with parking for the car. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

best b&b,we have ever stayed in.the rooms were spotless clean ,the little touches made it so much better than anywhere else we have been., with fresh fruit. a first-aid kit make up pads.mouth wash,and a mirade of other little touches.the breakfast is excellent my husband is still talking about it.and Dianne and Paul made us very welcome,.we will return.many thanks.

we stayed for 4 days. lovely friiendly people. excellent accomodation very welcoming breakfast lovely. nothing was too much trouble for them. even done afternoon tea with homemade cake at no extra charge. a fantastic value for money will definitely go back and recommend to others.

I stayed here just for a weekend but i can not find anything to find fault with. The Owners are so friendly and helpfull and bed in room 7 very comfy.Will be back soon

Cannot recommend Merritt House highly enough. Diane and Paul really are the best hosts. When we arrived we were offered help with our luggage and then given a warm welcome with tea and freshly baked muffins.
