I stayed at the Bellingham whilst I was working in Wigan for a couple of weeks. I had a sunny spacious room which was clean and warm. The room is a little dated however other parts of the hotel have been done up. There was plenty of hot water and a big bathroom too. The breakfasts are great, makes a... More

My daughter stayed at this hotel for four nights and although the hotel is in need of refurbishment, we cannot fault the Reception service and full English breakfasts. There was a shower problem so in advance of our arrival, the receptionist had allocated a large double bedroom instead of the single room we had booked. The hotel is in a... More

No heating or hot water, not ideal for having children who need bathing and keeping warm in a drafty room! Rooms smell damp , no one at reception when needed. Not impressed! Rooms were musty smelling and full of cobwebs. Poor lighting made putting on makeup hard! Decor was dated. Beds were comfy though, unfortunately had itchy sheets and a... More

My wife and I booked a night here on Sat 16th March. We were going to need a late check-in so I phoned at 8pm before setting off to let them know we were still coming and that we'd be checking in around 10ish. I provided my name and info on the booking and they told me it would be... More

Dated, smelly and not a nice experience. Cheap bit still not worth the money. Not a particularly good area but I'm sure it was at some time as there are some beautiful houses close by. No tv in the room, bathroom tiles broken and carpet marked quite badly. If it wasn't for the fact I'm attending a a meeting tomorrow... More

Stayed here before new year, wasn't surprise the room was dated due to the price ( can't moan at £25) & most of the staff were nice enough. When asking for a menu the chef (das?) personally came and recommended a starter and main (homemade garlic mushroom & beef stroganov) was well priced and far exceeded my expectations, even down... I was surprised the see positive reviews about this hotel. I really didn't know where to start when reviewing this place. For some reason my colleagues insist on coming back here year after year because it is cheap and in a good location. Unfortunately, I still don't think it is worth it. I would prefer to pay four or five... More
