Just what the doctor ordered. We wanted a quiet weekend away in a boutique B&B and Castle View Guest house ticked all the boxes. From the gorgeously decorated bedrooms to the fantastic hospitality & gourmet breakfast.Would definately come back again.

Visited friends in Durham, this is in a great central location. Rooms are beautifully furnished and very comfy beds. Hospitality was second to none. Will definitely be returning on our next visit.

We stayed here for my birthday on the 21/4/2012. This hotel Guest House was very cosey and really well decorated. It was situated in an ideal spot for what we wanted. Unfortunately, we didn't make breakfast during our stay as we forgot to set our alarms but the actual B&B was very warm and welcoming.

I stayed three nights in Castleview and was pleased with nearly every thing. it is a beautiful georgian building (historicaly listed) but well up to date and nicely decorated.
