A very enjoyable mid week stay here with friendly, helpful staff. Food was good both at breakfast and in the evening.
The only downsides were that the walls between the rooms were fairly thin, so there was some noise and because we were opposite the entrance gate and in sight of the main road there was some noise from that...

I've dined here on two occasions. Both times the bar food was great; imaginative, tasty and plentiful. They make every effort to cater to vegetarians with a varied menu and staff who go the extra mile. Can't wait to go back. Also was shown round the rooms - motel courtyard layout. Clean, quiet, well appointed and consistent. Hope you enjoy...

We had our evening meal in the hotel each night and the food was excellent and beatifully presented. It was too cold for us to sit outside on...

There are several bus routes direct to and from the hotel to Durham, the 6 and 6A being particularly useful since they both pass close to the Botanic Gardens and the Oriental Museum. The Oriental Museum is well worth a visit. There are rooms...

I stayed here with my boyfriend in May, our first impression of driving up to the hotel was a bit of a let down, but once we checked in and made our way to the room we were very impressed. The rooms were lovely decorated, very clean and had a great atmosphere, not to mention the massive telly in our...
