We stayed here after visiting the south lakes wildlife park on a sunday so most of the local shops etc were closed. This year for our 'staycation' we are taking several small breaks taking advantage of the Travelodge £19 deals. The Travelodge in Barrow was clean and tidy and our room overlooked the lake with ducks etc ( bonus !). Plenty of parking directly outside.
