We used to be regular visitors to The White House in the early days of my wife and I's relationship, and enjoyed our stays. Booked at short notice so was grateful to get a room. To be fair the manager John was very helpful and did offer us a room in the annex which had recently been refurbed however we were happy to accept a room above the restaurant. The double room was shoddy and bathroom was dire. Dirty toilet put me off straight... More

Stayed here for 1 night on 4th Feb for my brother and sister in laws wedding anniversary . John was a great host, what a lovely man. The snow came we didn't know if we could get home but when we went for breakfast john had already checked the roads for us. Annex rooms were nice and private, would recommend... More
