Before I start I must add...I'm not fussed on b&bs to start with, we only booked it because most other places in weymouth were fully booked. We found the beachcomber pretty easily an managed to park exactly outside on the main road and left the car there for the full weekend. The check in and b&b owners were great, the... More

We have been at Beachcomber Guest House for a two night stay mid of September 2012. The reason was a short weekend trip to the south coast of Great Britain and especially a visit of the Jurassic Coast Area between Swanage and Weymouth. Due to the fact that we didn't find a hotel in this area we decided to stay... More

Stayed here in single room for 2 weeks. Owners were lovely, polite and friendly. Breakfast was good and freshly cooked which did make the service rather slow, not a problem if you are on holiday (which I wasn't ). Biggest problem was the lack of soundproofing. The wall between my room and the next was paper thin and I could... More

I have just returned from a pleasant 4 night stay at the Beachcomber Guest House in Weymouth. Continently located within easy walking distance of the town centre and away from the hustle and bustle of Weymouth and just about opposite the beach at one end of town. Off road parking which was excellent as the town is all pay and... More

Just returned from a three night stay at the beachcomber with my husband. The couple who own it made us feel very welcome. The room we stayed in was a twin room, the beds were very comfortable, the rooms spotlessly clean (a big plus) and we couldn't fault the breakfasts which were varied and cooked to perfection. The only down... More

The rooms are spotless and the breakfasts were excellent. I found Pat and Ray to be friendly and professional, and I felt safe and the bed was comfortable. The location is good, right on the beach front. I was lucky enough to have brilliant weather as an added bonus!

Stayed here several weeks ago for a 3 night stay. Arrived in Weymouth fairly early and spoke rang up to ask when we could check in. Pat the owner said 12 noon, this was fine with us. We arrived at 12 noon, checked in no issues and parked our car round the back in the free private car park. We... More

We stayed for 4 nights in August. The location is excellent 10 mins walk from the harbour and the beach is right on the doorstep, albeit at the farther end from town. Room was small, bathroom very small but shower worked fine. Room was on the main road and was thus very noisy early in the morning. Maid had left... More
