This hotel has a very busy and noisy bar with noisy late night music akin to a night club. The fact that ear plugs were supplied on the bedside table says something of the noise level. The owners, Marston Inns, explained to me that this was quite acceptable. More

We stayed at The Kings Head on Saturday 10th December and were really impressed. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was large, clean and the bed very comfortable. We stayed here a night to meet up with a family member. We managed to get a space in the carpark (just!) and the staff were very helpful. The room was what we expected, all we needed (had to crouch down to get under the very good shower as the ceiling was low, but no big deal) and the breakfast... More

Clean, neat, cost effective, central and super friendly staff. Bit of doof doof background noise from the pub downstairs, but they told me that before i booked in so no surprise and it is stopped at 11pm. I will stay again. More
