We got the LivingSocial offer and booked for two nights mid week. But LS offered room were booked so with an additional supplement we were given the "master" room. There is a lot of history within the cottage itself, room were very clean and staff were very helpful and friendly. Only disappointment was the wifi in the room. Overall very... More

My husband and I visited for two nights in April 2013 to celebrate our anniversary after reading some good reviews online. It was also our first visit to the new forest and we were not disappointed. We were made to feel at home as soon as we arrived and were well looked after for the duration of our stay. We... More

We don't normally stay in this type of accommodation i.e. B&B's rather preferring the finer things in life. But I found a voucher and after reading the wonderful reviews and knowing the New Forest I decided to give it a go, so booked two nights for my husband and I. So glad I did, form the moment we walked in... More

This was the first holiday I have been able to take with my husband on our own. We found the Cottage Lodge via the internet and we weren't disappointed. They looked after us from our arrival to our departure. We would love to return. My mum and dad and godfather had paid for a "honeymoon package". This was a surprise... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights in half term (May 2013). Should have been 3 nights but had to shorten unfortunately. Came for a little escape from London for a couple of days! We stayed in the Morant room, one of the dog friendly rooms (although didn't bring a dog!) Basic furnishings, large bathroom and TV &... More

We spent a night in the Wilverley Room, and found that it really didn't live up to the generally rapturous reviews: maybe we're especially jaded, or maybe it's wonderful compared to New Forest B&Bs generally, who knows? It's a nice room, no question, large and spacious with plenty of light, but not special or remarkable in any way. The four-poster... More

Nana and me and Adam booked in at short notice on a very excellent website and were contacted charmingly by the hotel to confirm The location is excellent being only a few minutes to town (charming town) and to Streets where you can buy crabbing gear. The offstreet parking is good. The rooms were perfect. Clean. Well decorated. Stylish. Incredibly... More

We stayed at Cottage Lodge in April. Its a really well run B&B with lots of luxury touches which makes it very special. Our room was large and airy, sloping ceilings caught out my tall partner more than once - so may suit more vertically challenged visitors like me. A lovely big bathroom, high quality toiletries. Immaculately clean and peacefully... More

Some friends gave us a birthday treat of planning a weekend away for us. They couldn't of got it more right. A classic cottage feel with modern clean and cosy elements. Large fresh breakfasts, they didn't stop topping you up with toast very friendly and accommodating. The bed was so comfy we couldn't stop sleeping! A lovely patio with table... More

An old lodge with character and lots of charm. Nice clean room en suite with good bed. We felt very welcome. Parking space was reserved. Breakfast is all you can wish for. We dined twice in the Fallen Tree restaurant. Food is absolutely wonderful. Great place to stay without a doubt.
