Situated on the B5277 in the pretty village of Lindale on the beautiful Cartmel Peninsula to the south of the Lake District National Park. Lindale has two welcoming local pubs, serving real ales and highly recommended meals. Greenacres is now better known as a quality four-star guesthouse with friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere. The Edwardian resort of Grange over Sands, with its mile long promenade, is two miles away; the southern shores of Lake Windermere only six miles away. An ideal base from which to explore the Lakes. The nearby sands of Morecambe Bay are a twitcher’s delight with a wide range wildfowl and shorebirds. The popular Cross Bay Walks draw tens of thousands of walkers each summertime. We had two nights stay at the end of May whilst visiting Holker Garden Festival nearby. The guest house is located in Lindale which is a few minutes drive out of Grange over Sands and has two village pubs. We needed one night in Grange and we couldn't have been made more welcome! Small, but spotlessly clean bedroom and shower room and the breakfast was excellent - every taste and diet catered for! Highly recommended - would definitely stay there again.

I couldn't recommend Greenacres enough! It is so comfortable, warm and clean. Fantastic breakfast and very accommodating hosts too! I stayed so that I could attend a conference locally..and when the conference ended I could have happliy returned for a second night!
