Clean, comfortable & large rooms. Very friendly & helpful staff with an excellent location close to the promanade. Breakfast was also of a high standard. Stayed for one night in January 2012, would certainly go back. More

My wife and I stayed at Britten house due to the good reviews given by others. I am pleased to add another good review. The Mozart Suite has a large comfy four poster, a seating area with a good size TV / DVD, and table and chairs in the bay window which has a sea view. There are several takeaways... More

We have now stayed at Britten House on several occasions and look forward to going back soon. The owners are friendly and very attentive, without being intrusive. We have stayed in several different rooms, all of which have been spotlessly clean and comfortable. Cooked breakfasts are great and all requests are catered for. Easy to park in street outside. Would... More

You can almost imagine you hear music in your dreams when you know Benjamin Britten was born in this house & spent his childhood here! However, music aside we wondered what this hotel had to offer - surfice to say for a b.& b., it has everything. We were greeted at the door by the cheery proprietor who helped us... More

Stayed here in Chopin room while attending a wedding nearby. Located about ten minutes walk from the town centre. Beautifully maintained property, room was spotless with large bathroom (plenty of towels) and luxurious furnishings. Window overlooked next door property but this was the only downside. Comfortable bed and flatscreen TV. Breakfast excellent with your choice of items, all arrived piping... More

We stayed for two nights with our grandson in order to enjoy the delights of Lowestoft. With regard to Lowestoft, we were fortunate to enjoy three days of good weather, especially the last two which were very warm and sunny. The beach between Claremont Pier and the Pakefield end 'opposite the Guest House' is by far the best you will... More
