My elderly sister visited Linden House recently and was delighted by the friendly welcome. We were having a family get together and others were staying elsewhere. How they wished they too were at Linden House. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts and the proximity to the town makes it a wonderful base.

Just off the main street opposite the church, the secluded location discloses a really good B&B. Characterful building - comfortable rooms - excellent breakfast - obliging and friendly hosts, not without a touch of humour, who know the area well - it really has everything you need. One to come back to.

A lovely b&b, within 2 minutes walk of the town centre. Comfy room, and a top-notch breakfast (vegetarians properly catered for too). Hosts (Patrick and Clare) very welcoming, and know everything about the local area - from cider-makers to scenic walks.

A comfortable, relaxing stay in a spot ideally located for walks into the surrounding country side and visiting the market town. Full English was very tasty and the hosts were hospitable and informative without being intrusive. Had a lovely stay there.

Just back from visiting friends around the Uk. Stayed in various B and Bs but this was certainly the best. (Although they were all pretty good) Would especially recommend for location and friendliness.
