Stayed for five days, room was clean and well serviced by housekeeping. Food was good with ample portions. Staff courteous and very responsive. Good value for money. Would stay again. M Norcott

We stayed for the one night, our room was on the top floor, it was very dated and old peeling paint & wallpaper. The floor boards creeked really bad. The window was filthy & paint worked mouldy & peeling around it. Couldn't wait to get out of room. The breakfast was horrible, no one told us what was what, wasn't... More

Started staying here when in Warrington , which I do weekly . Couldnt be more convenient for Warrington Bank Quay station . Place is slightly old fashioned ,but is cosy and much more homely for the lone traveller than the often clinical " chain hotels " , and which arent that good VFM these days either , which the Patten... I was due to stay here tonight but I took one look at the room and left. The decor is very shabby, the stairs are awkward if you have luggage and the room I had was small, cold, slightly grotty and without an ounce of character. The bathroom was ancient and nothing looked very clean. I've never left a hotel... More

Stayed at the patten for one night, rooms are spacious bathroon is a great size, lovely hot water, for such a large old building the place was lovely and warm, yes it is oldie worldly this building is from the 1800's so there is the creaky floorboards and dated decor but this adds to the charm,. As as single woman travelling alone, the staff could not have made me feel more at home. Had a nice welcome at reception and shown directions to my room. The room was very clean and bed sheets were immaculate. I did have a nice conversation with the manager and told her that I thought the place could do with being... More
