Attended a wedding in January at The Mount. It's a charming place like something out of a story book. My room was value for money, the food was fantastic, will definitely be eating and hopefully staying there again. Highly recommend this fabulous place.

Good stay in a nice hotel, nothing was too much for the guy behind the bar and there was a great area to watch the football and have a beer, stayed here to go to a wedding and thought it was great!!

My partner and I stayed at the Mount for 3 weeks whilst an insurance claim went through and it thoroughly felt like home, will miss the staff and the room. The food was fantastic- real shame i've got to go back home- but will definitely be visiting again!!

Me and my husband stayed at the mount hotel for 2 nights during the Christmas period 2011, we had a excellent experience, due to friendly staff, very clean and presentable rooms, and fabulous food! I will definitely be going back to stay at the mount hotel very soon!

The hotel is clearly part way through a programme to return to past glories. Some of the rooms aren't great, but those which have been refurbished are good quality and all are clean. Could do with some leisure facilities, eg a decent gym. Pretty good for the price, once you haggle.

We stayed here for 2 nights with a wedding party - the wedding left from here and came back. We had nice rooms and were well looked after. We sat outside on the decking a lot of the time as it was beautiful. The baby ribs are amazing but one order can easily feed the family!!
