This must be the hundredth Travelodge I have stopped in. Sad to say it has problems. I usually make allowances as the chain prides itself on its cheap and cheerful no frills image and to be fair I didn't pay very much. But money is money and when you pay in advance you expect everything to be okay when you... More

this travelodge is cheap but nothing special, clean rooms but rather cold.it is right on the ringroad with access for parking at the rear,we arrived late at night and we had nowhere to park as all the spaces were full so i had to park about a mile away near the local park. we booked breakfast all you can eat but... I have stayed in several Travelodges and this is no different to the rest. It was clean, it had everything I needed for a night. The Civic Hall is just across the road so if you are going there for a gig, it’s ideal. I could of done with an extra pillow, but I didn't ask.

Been here quite a few times. Ideal for the access to town center. Not the cleaniest. Staff look like they hate their job and food is basic nice drinks at the bar. I've had staff and a repair man walk in on me and my partner.

This Travelodge scores well for its handy location - it's easy to drive to, being right on the ring road, and is a short walk from the city centre. The parking is fairly limited and you need to pay (using coins only) so be prepared. We stayed just for one night for a gig at the nearby Civic Hall and... More

OK this is a first, this is the only hotel I have ever turned up to and checked out of within an hour. Firstly the hotel itself has woefully inadequate parking, the parking is not just limited it is practically non existent. It was suggested that cars could be left next to the park (which is nearby) but not sure... More

We stayed here prior to a gig at the Apollo. It was great for location - really close. The hotel itself was OK. The bar area was good although quite small. We had a drink here and breakfast in the morning. There was a choice of everything and it wasn't too busy. The room was a bit disappointing. Smelt a... More

Despite other people's reviews, I decided to stop at this particular hotel because it was cheap and close to the city centre, the rooms were clean and very cosy in my opinion. The staff members, kerry and james, that booked us in were very polite and friendly and made you feel like welcomed upon entering the hotel. Night staff were... More

We had an awful stay at this travelodge. The room was small and dirty. The bed was uncomfortable and with only 1 pillow that was as flat as a pancake we had an awful nighs sleep. Even though this place can be cheap it is not worth it if you would like some sleep. I have stayed in many travelodges... More
